Where you are now
Your portfolio is finished. These are the questions that come next.
- How do I put a simulated company project on my resume, clearly and honestly?
- How do I show that my previous job gave me skills GRC employers want?
- What do I say when an interviewer asks, "Tell me about yourself" or "Walk me through your work"?
Why I built this program
A few years ago, I referred a well-qualified career changer for an interview. Afterward, the hiring manager told me she clearly had the education, but she struggled to show that she could actually do the work and explain her decisions. That is why the GRC Build-and-Defend Studio has you build real work products, and why this program exists. Building the work is one half. Explaining it clearly, on paper and out loud, is the other half.
What you finish: your job search kit
- An identity statement. A two-sentence introduction: your background, your target field, and three types of work you have done.
- A tailored resume. One page, matched to one real job posting.
- A LinkedIn profile. Headline, About, Experience, Projects and Skills, matching your resume.
- Practiced interview answers. Your introduction, one answer about past work, and one about your portfolio.
- A portfolio link. Three of your finished pieces and a one-page overview, online with one view-only link.
Then you check the whole kit with AI, and read every word yourself, before you apply.
